My Goal for 2013 is to spend more time with my family my son will be coming home from over seas after serving a year. So I'll be making every holiday so special lost time from this year and thanking God for bring him home safe and having the wonderful family that I have.

Merry Christmas, Krista! I hope you and your family have a spectacular day. My resolution for next year is to take less photos ... just kidding, although I probably should. No, really, my resolution is to be more consistent in taking a daily walk. I was really good for a few years going on a 3.5 mile walk at least four times a week (even when it was pouring rain!), but lately, something invariably comes up. So, no more excuses, even if I can't find another walking buddy. I need to keep healthy and keep my stress levels down.

I've been reading your blog for about a year now and I admire how positive you are in all things. My resolution/goal is to be more positive even in the face of hardship which I'm dealing with right now. And in becoming a more positive person I would also like to take initiative in helping oppressed women around the world. I don't exactly know what way or shape this will take, but I realize I really need something bigger than myself in my life. I recently read a book called Half the Sky by husband and wife, Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn. This book was such a wake-up call for me and helped me to be outside myself and my own problems. Krista, if you have a chance please read this book. I guarantee you won't regret it. Well, that's it, that's my resolution/goal. I pray for the strength and will to actually bring it to fruition.

ReplyDeleteMy goal this year is not my usual get out of my wheelchair - that would be my miracle! - but instead I want to try and get off of some of my medication, they have filled my body with side effects and toxins for 6 years and I want to give my body a 'spring clean'. It will be hard as they all have addictive properties, but I need to try facing this illness head on with a clean body and mind, then maybe I can try some alternitive therapies instaed.

ReplyDeleteGosh 2013, I hope is a good year for me and my family. My number one goal is to graduate college. Just a few more classes during the spring and summer and then Intern in the Fall. *fingers crossed* all goes according to plan. For my daughter, she starts Junior High next year - my hope for her is a smooth transition. For my son - that he forever believes in himself and continue to lead with a soft heart. For my Hubby - I hope 2013 is kinder on him at work - the traveling and being gone from home is wearing on him!

My goal for 2013 is actually a recent goal goal I made this month that I will be carrying over into the new year.
ReplyDeleteTo eat, live, and be healthy, clean, and active. I'm making small baby steps and resolutions at a time. Starting with brushing my teeth for a whole two minutes straight, and doing to the entire process of flossing/whitening etc. And then to drinking at least 6-8 glasses of water a day. To take more walks and do more yoga. To be on the internet less. To make an extra effort to add more fruits and vegetables.
The reason for trying at this giveaway is because I love and enjoy photography. Although I instagram, post photos to facebook, but the physical photograph is always more exciting to see (and brings a bigger smile to your face).
Actually... I've always wanted to do the 365 day photo album. Maybe this camera will help me reach my active goals by making it a goal to do something exciting and new everyday.
